Phone & email verification
A working phone and email are confirmed with a one-time code, making disposable accounts far harder to create.
Government-ID & age check
Members verify a government-issued photo ID, confirming identity and that every member is at least 18.
Live selfie matching
A real-time selfie is matched to the ID and to profile photos with facial recognition — so stolen-photo catfishing fails.
Background screening
Applicants are screened against public records before being granted access to the community.
Automatic photo screening
Uploaded photos are scanned for explicit content and to confirm a real person is present before they ever appear.
Message moderation
Messages and community posts are automatically screened for toxic or abusive content, not just left to user reports.
Tools that keep you in control
You decide who can reach you. Privacy Options let you set who can message you, video call you, and see your gallery or wall — Everyone, Only Matches, or No One. You can block any member, auto-block anyone you report, and share only an approximate location instead of your exact position.
If something goes wrong, reporting is fast and obvious: report a member directly from their profile or from the Member Dashboard, which also links to crisis hotlines and support resources. Our safety team reviews every report.
An honest note on limits
No platform can promise dating is risk-free, and we won't pretend otherwise. Screening has limits, and verification confirms who someone is — not that they'll always behave well. What verification does is remove anonymity, which is what the large majority of online-dating harm depends on. Pair it with good habits (video chat first, meet in public, never send money) and you've stacked the odds dramatically in your favor.
