Official Challenge Rules
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE OR PAID MEMBERSHIP WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
These Official Challenge Rules govern the Safe Date Can Cozy Challenge (the "Challenge"). By participating, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of Safe Date, which are final and binding on all matters relating to the Challenge, subject to applicable law.
1. Sponsor
The Challenge is sponsored by Safe Date, Inc. ("Safe Date," "Sponsor," "we," "us," or "our") located in Parker, Colorado.
2. Challenge Period
The Challenge begins when it is made available by Sponsor and ends at 12:01 a.m. Mountain Time on December 1, 2026 (the "Challenge Period"). Sponsor's systems and records are the official timekeeping and entry records for the Challenge.
3. Eligibility
Open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry and who are legally eligible to hold a Safe Date account under Safe Date's Terms of Use. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
Employees, officers, directors, contractors, agents, and representatives of Sponsor, and members of their immediate families or households, are not eligible to win unless Sponsor elects to permit them in a final attorney-reviewed version of these Rules.
4. How to Enter
Participation is optional. To participate, an eligible person must create or maintain an active Safe Date account and elect to participate in the Challenge. A free Safe Date membership is sufficient; paid and free memberships are treated the same for Challenge-entry purposes.
- Initial Entry Credit: An eligible member receives ten (10) Challenge entries as a one-time credit for participating with an eligible Safe Date account.
- Member Code: During sign-up, a member receives a four-digit member code that may be shared with others for referral tracking.
- Referral Entry Credit: For each new eligible member who signs up using a participant's valid member code, the referring participant receives twenty (20) additional Challenge entries, subject to the five-day active-account requirement below.
- Referred Member Credit: A new eligible member who signs up using another member's code receives the same ten (10) initial entries and receives their own member code.
There is no stated cap on the number of valid referral entries a participant may earn during the Challenge Period, provided all entries comply with these Official Rules.
5. Five-Day Active-Account Requirement
A newly referred member must keep their Safe Date account active for at least five (5) consecutive days before the related referral entries are credited to the referring participant. If the new member deletes, closes, is removed, or otherwise becomes ineligible before the five-day period is completed, the related referral entries will not be credited and may be removed if previously posted in error.
6. Active Account Required
A participant's Safe Date account must remain active and in good standing through the end of the Challenge Period and through winner verification. Deleting or voluntarily closing the account before winner verification forfeits all Challenge entries. Sponsor may also disqualify or remove entries associated with an account suspended or terminated for fraud, abuse, violation of Safe Date's Terms of Use or Community Guidelines, or violation of these Official Rules.
7. No Purchase Necessary / Equal Treatment of Memberships
No purchase is required to participate or win. A participant may use the free Beautiful Bonus Bundle or an eligible paid membership. Purchasing or upgrading a membership does not provide additional Challenge entries and does not improve a participant's standing except to the extent the participant independently earns valid referral entries under these Rules.
8. Winner Determination
This is a referral-based challenge, not a random drawing. The eligible participant with the greatest number of valid, verified Challenge entries at the end of the Challenge Period will be the potential Grand Prize winner, subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules.
Tie procedure: If two or more eligible participants are tied for the highest number of valid entries, Sponsor will use the following tie-breaker unless revised before publication: first, the participant whose final qualifying referral entry was credited earliest will rank higher; if a tie still remains, Sponsor will conduct a random drawing among the remaining tied participants. Sponsor should have this tie-break method reviewed by promotion counsel before launch.
9. Grand Prize
One (1) Grand Prize: Three Thousand U.S. Dollars (US $3,000), subject to applicable tax reporting and withholding requirements. The prize is non-transferable except as permitted by Sponsor and may not be substituted by the winner. Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary.
10. Winner Notification and Verification
The potential winner will be contacted using the email address, telephone number, in-app contact method, or other contact information associated with the winner's Safe Date account. The potential winner may be required to respond within a stated period, verify identity and eligibility, provide tax information (including a completed IRS Form W-9 where required), and sign an Affidavit/Declaration of Eligibility, Liability Release, Publicity Release, and any other lawful prize-acceptance documents requested by Sponsor. Failure to timely complete verification may result in disqualification and selection of the next-highest eligible participant.
11. Referral and Participation Restrictions
Participants may share their member codes, but entries must result from genuine, eligible new members. The following are prohibited and may result in disqualification, removal of entries, account action, or all three:
- Creating or causing the creation of fake, duplicate, automated, bot, AI-generated, fraudulent, or non-genuine accounts;
- Using another person's identity or creating accounts without that person's knowledge and consent;
- Paying, bribing, or offering unlawful consideration solely to create ineligible or sham accounts;
- Using scripts, macros, automated entry methods, click farms, lead farms, or other artificial means to generate sign-ups or entries;
- Manipulating member codes, referral tracking, account status, or Sponsor systems;
- Sending unlawful spam, misleading messages, or communications that violate applicable law, third-party platform rules, or Safe Date policies;
- Harassing, threatening, deceiving, or coercing any person to join Safe Date or participate in the Challenge; or
- Any conduct that Sponsor reasonably determines undermines the integrity or fair operation of the Challenge.
12. Entry Audits and Corrections
All entries are subject to Sponsor's verification. Sponsor may audit account activity, referral records, member-code usage, timing, and other information reasonably necessary to confirm entry validity. Sponsor may correct clerical, technical, or tracking errors and may remove duplicate, invalid, fraudulent, or improperly credited entries. Sponsor's records control in the event of a discrepancy, subject to applicable law.
13. General Conditions
Sponsor reserves the right, to the extent permitted by law, to cancel, suspend, modify, or terminate the Challenge if fraud, technical failure, unauthorized intervention, legal or regulatory requirements, force majeure, or any other cause materially impairs the integrity, administration, security, or fairness of the Challenge. If the Challenge is terminated early, Sponsor may determine a winner based on valid entries earned before termination or by another fair method announced by Sponsor, subject to applicable law.
14. Release and Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, each participant agrees to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, advertising and promotion agencies, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses arising out of participation in the Challenge, acceptance or use of a prize, or authorized use of Challenge-related content, except where such release is prohibited by law. Nothing in these Rules waives rights that cannot legally be waived.
15. Privacy
Information collected in connection with the Challenge will be handled in accordance with Safe Date's Privacy Policy and applicable law. Participation in the Challenge does not change the privacy choices or account rights otherwise available to a Safe Date member, except as expressly stated in these Rules or a separate release accepted by the participant.
16. Publicity
Except where prohibited, the verified winner may be required to permit Sponsor to use the winner's name, city/state, likeness, voice, photograph, and prize information for lawful advertising, publicity, and promotional purposes without additional compensation. Any broader use of participant-created photos, videos, testimonials, or other content is governed by the separate Entry and Content Release below.
17. Taxes
All federal, state, and local taxes, fees, and other costs associated with acceptance and use of the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. Sponsor may issue any tax forms required by law.
18. Disputes / Governing Law
These Official Rules and the Challenge shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
Except where prohibited by law, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to the Challenge, these Official Rules, the awarding of the prize, or the rights and obligations of any entrant or Sponsor shall be resolved in accordance with the dispute-resolution provisions contained in Safe Date's Terms of Use.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, each entrant agrees that any claim will be brought only in the entrant's individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, consolidated or representative proceeding.
Nothing in these Official Rules limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
19. Winner List / Rules Requests
A copy of these Official Rules will be available at SafeDate.net during the Challenge Period.
After the Challenge has concluded and the winner has been verified, individuals may request the name of the winner by writing to P.O. Box 2092, Parker, CO 80134, with the subject line "Can Cozy Challenge Winner Request."
Requests must be received no later than February 1, 2027.
Sponsor may provide the winner's first name and last initial, city and state, or other information as permitted or required by applicable law. Sponsor will not disclose additional personal information about the winner except as required by law or with the winner's consent.

Entry Acknowledgment and Content Release
By checking the Challenge acceptance box, submitting Challenge-related content, or otherwise affirmatively agreeing to this Entry Acknowledgment & Content Release, I agree as follows:
1. Entry Acknowledgment
I have read and agree to the Safe Date Can Cozy Challenge Official Rules above, Safe Date Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Community Guidelines. I understand that participation in the Challenge is optional and that no purchase is necessary to participate or win.
2. Accuracy and Eligibility
I represent that the information I provide in connection with the Challenge is truthful and accurate, that I am eligible to participate, and that I will not create or use fake, duplicate, fraudulent, automated, or unauthorized accounts to obtain entries.
3. Content Covered by This Release
If I voluntarily submit, post, send, tag, upload, or otherwise provide Safe Date with a photo, video, audio recording, testimonial, caption, story, social post, image of a Can Cozy, or other material in connection with the Challenge ("Challenge Content"), I grant the rights stated below. Simply joining the Challenge or sharing a member code does not, by itself, give Safe Date ownership of unrelated content in my Safe Date profile.
4. License to Challenge Content
I grant Safe Date a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable and transferable license to reproduce, display, publish, distribute, edit, crop, resize, format, excerpt, caption, adapt, create derivative promotional materials from, and otherwise use the Challenge Content for administration of the Challenge and for Safe Date advertising, publicity, marketing, social media, websites, apps, presentations, press materials, and other promotional purposes, in any media now known or later developed, subject to applicable law.
This license does not transfer ownership of my original Challenge Content to Safe Date. I retain ownership of the rights I otherwise hold in that content.
5. Name, Likeness, Voice, and Statements
To the extent my Challenge Content includes my name, image, likeness, voice, appearance, biographical information, testimonial, or statements, I authorize Safe Date to use those elements together with the Challenge Content for the permitted purposes above, without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.
6. Other People in My Content
I will not submit Challenge Content that shows or records another identifiable person unless I have that person's permission to be recorded and for the content to be submitted to Safe Date for the uses described in this Release. I understand that Safe Date may require a separate release from any featured person and may decline to use content if appropriate consent cannot be confirmed.
7. My Promises About the Content
I represent and warrant that:
- I created the Challenge Content or have all rights and permissions necessary to submit it and grant this license;
- The Challenge Content does not knowingly infringe another person's copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights;
- The Challenge Content does not contain unlawful, pornographic, exploitative, defamatory, threatening, or intentionally deceptive material; and
- My submission and Safe Date's permitted use of the Challenge Content will not violate an agreement that legally binds me.
8. Editing and Removal
Safe Date is not required to use any Challenge Content and may remove or stop using it at any time. Safe Date may make reasonable editorial or technical changes for length, format, clarity, branding, accessibility, or platform requirements, provided the changes do not intentionally misrepresent the substance of my statements.
9. Release for Authorized Use
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release Safe Date and its authorized licensees from claims arising from the uses of my Challenge Content that I have expressly authorized in this Release, including claims based on right of publicity, right of privacy, or editorial modification, except for uses that exceed this Release or rights that cannot legally be waived.
10. Optional Nature of Content Submission
Submitting Challenge Content is optional unless Safe Date clearly states that a specific content submission is required for a separate promotion. I may participate in the referral-based Can Cozy Challenge without submitting photos, videos, testimonials, or other Challenge Content.
11. Electronic Acceptance
My electronic acceptance, including checking an unchecked box next to a clear statement of agreement, is intended to have the same force and effect as my handwritten signature to the extent permitted by law. Safe Date may retain records showing the version of the Rules/Release accepted, the date and time of acceptance, and the associated account.
12. Short Disclosure
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Open to eligible U.S. residents age 18+. Challenge ends at 12:01 a.m. Mountain Time on December 1, 2026. Ten (10) initial entries per eligible participating account; twenty (20) additional entries for each eligible new member who signs up with your valid member code and remains active for at least five (5) days. Free and paid memberships are treated equally for entry purposes. The eligible member with the most valid entries at the end of the Challenge wins the $3,000 Grand Prize.
